The Reno Aces will pay tribute to the men and women in uniform by offering complimentary tickets to all first responders on Tuesday, Sept. 11 as the club takes on the Omaha Storm Chasers in Game 1 of the Pacific Coast League Championship Series.

Reno clinched its second-straight Pacific North Division title in 2012, and after winning the Pacific Conference Championship Series over Sacramento on Sunday, the Aces begin their hunt for a PCL championship on Tuesday night at Aces Ballpark.

In remembrance of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, all first responders—including police officers, fire fighters, paramedics and military personnel—will be eligible to receive one free ticket for Tuesday night’s series-opener. First responders must present their government-issued identification card to the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office to obtain their ticket. The Ticket Office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, and will reopen on Tuesday morning. Tickets are available while supplies last, on a first-come, first-served basis.

This marks the deepest postseason run in franchise history, and is just the second time an Arizona Diamondbacks Triple-A affiliate has played for a league championship.

Trevor Bauer—rated as the No. 6 prospect in all of professional baseball by MLB.com—gets the start for the Aces in Game 1 on Tuesday night. He’ll face-off with Omaha right-hander Jake Odorizzi—baseball’s No. 32 prospect.

Additionally, in response to demand from the club’s fan base, the Aces will be offering $1 ribs on Wednesday night for Game 2 of the series, while supplies last.
