Aces' Skaggs Headed to D'Backs?

RENO - It looks like Reno Aces pitcher Tyler Skaggs could be on his way back the big leagues.

Skaggs was a healthy scratch from his start against Tacoma in order to preserve him for a possible start with the Diamondbacks this week.

Here's what Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic wrote today.

Left-hander Tyler Skaggs was a healthy scratch from his start
today, which we can only presume means he’s either definitely
going to start one of the games in Wednesday’s doubleheader
against the Marlins or he’s being strongly considered for a start.

Skaggs has been really, really good for a while now, and looks like
he’s about as ready as a pitcher can be for a start in the majors.

Skaggs is 4-2 with a 2.91 ERA in nine games in Triple-A Reno. If he were to get called-up, it would be his major league debut.
