Tony Abreu Back with Diamondbacks

RENO - Tony Abreu was activated off the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday. He's been added to the Diamondbacks' active roster.

Abreu had been out since spraining his left wrist on May 25.

He played in just three games with the Reno Aces on a rehab assignment. Abreu batted .417 with five hits in 12 at-bats. He also had two doubles.

Abreu is batting .309 with five RBI in 31 games this season in Arizona.

He takes the roster spot of Conor Jackson, who was traded to the Oakland A's in exchange for Triple-A pitcher Sam Demel. Demel was 2-0 with a 1.26 ERA and six saves in 22 games for the Sacramento River Cats.
