PHOENIX (AP) - Seeking help for their struggling bullpen, the Arizona Diamondbacks called up right-hander Carlos Rosa from Triple-A Reno prior to their game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Rosa, who was acquired from the Kansas City Royals on May 1, is 2-1 with a 2.76 ERA in 16 1-3 innings for Reno and Triple-A Omaha. Manager A.J. Hinch said Rosa would be available to pitch in Wednesday night's game.

Right-hander Daniel Stange, who has a 13.50 ERA in four innings, was optioned to Reno.

Arizona's bullpen is last in the majors with a 7.55 ERA and has allowed 26 runs in 11 2-3 innings over the past four games.

Hinch indicated this could be the first of multiple moves involving relief pitchers.
