RENO - Former McQueen Lancers' star Chris Aguila is back in town this week with the Las Vegas 51s.
Aguila bats leadoff and plays outfield for the 51's. He's batting .327 with seven doubles in 14 games this season with Las Vegas.
Aguila has played parts of four different seasons in the majors with the Pirates and the Mets. He spent 2008 in the Marlins organization, but played overseas in Japan last year.
Aguila, 31, was a first team All-American his senior season at McQueen, tying the national home run record with 29 HR's in 39 games.
Aguila is hoping to get the call back up to the majors this season. The Toronto Blue Jays are the major-league affiliate of the 51s.
