PHOENIX (AP) - Mark Reynolds and Adam LaRoche hit consecutive homers during a five-run fourth inning and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-4 on Friday night.
Kelly Johnson added solo shots in the fifth and seventh innings, Chris Snyder also connected in the fourth and former Aces pitcher Kris Benson threw six-plus strong innings for the Diamondbacks, who won for the second time in three games.
Benson (1-1) allowed the three runs - two earned - on eight hits with five strikeouts. Former Wolf Pack player Chad Qualls recorded an out for his third save in five chances.
Shane Victorino was 2 for 5 with a triple and an RBI single for the Phillies.
