DENVER (AP) - Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Eric Byrnes has been activated from the disabled list.
Byrnes was available off the bench Saturday night against Colorado. He missed 64 games with a broken left hand after he was hit by a pitch from Texas starter Scott Feldman on June 25.
Byrnes had been on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno for the past two weeks. When he got hurt, he was batting .216 with five home runs and 24 RBIs.
Diamondbacks manager A.J. Hinch says it's possible Byrnes will start Sunday against the Rockies.
