The Reno Aces lost a pair of players to their big league affiliate on Sunday.
The Arizona Diamondbacks purchased the contract of shortstop Josh Wilson and recalled pitcher Esmerling Vasquez.
Wilson was batting .260, with three doubles, a triple and a home run in 15 games with Reno. Wilson also drove in 10 RBI in 50 at-bats.
Vasquez had a 0.93 E.R.A. in six games with the Aces. He gave up just two runs on seven hits in 9.2 innings pitched.
D'Backs pitcher Doug Slaten has been sent down to join the Aces. Slaten has a 6.75 E.R.A. in seven games this year with Arizona. He has given up three runs on six hits in four innings pitched.
