LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 33-year-old woman is facing a felony drunken
driving charge in a deadly multi-vehicle crash after police say she
drove her SUV the wrong way down a busy Las Vegas boulevard.
Las Vegas police say a 24-year-old man driving a Ford Mustang
was killed when a 2003 Toyota 4-Runner driven by Veronica Arana
slammed head-on into his car shortly after 8:30 p.m. Sunday on
Rainbow Boulevard near Wigwam Avenue.
Arana's SUV also hit a Honda Pilot driven by a 17-year-old girl
who police say sustained minor injuries.
Arana was treated at University Medical Center and taken to the
Clark County jail pending an initial court appearance.
KLAS-TV reports that one vehicle rolled over and burst into flames and another crashed into a nearby business.
