LAS VEGAS (AP) - A key witness in a Las Vegas felony case
alleging a scheme to falsify court-ordered counseling and community
service completion records has been arrested.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that 28-year-old Brandon Snowden was arrested Thursday and is being held at the Clark County jail pending a Thursday court appearance.
Snowden testified in December before a grand jury in Las Vegas
that he helped attorney Brian Bloomfield, a local bail bondsman and
Bloomfield's wife destroy evidence that they provided phony court
certificates for prostitutes and other defendants.
Snowden was sought on a warrant after he failed to show up for a
robbery case hearing late last year.
He testified that he gave police bags of shredded documents
after police raided Bloomfield's office in April 2010.
