LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Republican party official in charge of counting Nevada caucus ballots in Las Vegas says the process is expected to take all night.
A state GOP party executive in Reno says every other county in the state did the same thing, but they're done already.
Clark County GOP vice chairman Woody Stroupe tells The Associated Press party officials are recounting every ballot cast in Nevada's largest county to make sure there aren't any mistakes.
Stroupe says ballots from 8 of 40 caucus sites have been counted in the first four hours.
He says the recount isn't because of a challenge, but that it's just party procedure.
Stroupe says no results will be made public until every vote is counted.
