LAS VEGAS (AP) - Firefighters say two dogs perished after
alerting people to a smoky blaze that spread from a recreational
vehicle to an adjacent home in northwest Las Vegas.
Las Vegas fire officials tell KVVU-TV Fox 5 that no people were hurt in the fire that badly damaged the home a little before 6:30 a.m. Friday on Thom Boulevard.
Smoke from the fire near Decatur Boulevard and Gowan Road hung
in the early morning air and was visible throughout the Las Vegas
and Henderson area.
Investigators didn't immediately know what caused the fire.
