Bible to Resign from Nevada Resort Association
Bill Bible has been nominated to the board of MGM Mirage and will resign his position as president of the Nevada Resort Association, a casino lobbying group he has steered for more than a decade.

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Bill Bible has been nominated to the board of MGM Mirage and will resign his position as president of the Nevada Resort Association, a casino lobbying group he has steered for more than a decade.
Bible is former chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board and served in state government for nearly three decades before joining the resort association.
His appointment to the MGM Mirage board of directors is subject to regulatory approvals and board ratification.
Bible was a key player during the recent special legislative
session in Carson City. Resort Association members fended off an
attempt by lawmakers to collect $32 million in new fees from the
casino industry to fund regulatory operations.
