LAS VEGAS (AP) - A newspaper says it has evidence the University Medical Center has been leaking information about patients to personal-injury lawyers seeking clients. Hospital chief executive Kathy Silver tells the Las Vegas Sun she's considering seeking a police investigation of the release of information. It would violate federal patient-privacy laws and could result in fines and prison time.
