LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Nevada judge told a fugitive in the 1995
disappearance of his estranged wife in Greeley, Colo., that he'll be held for 90 days to give the Colorado governor time to issue a warrant to retrieve him in custody from Las Vegas.

John L. Sandoval was not asked about the murder charge during his brief arraignment without a lawyer on a felony fugitive from justice charge.

Clark County District Court Judge Douglas Smith denied bail and set a status hearing for July 28.

The 44-year-old Sandoval was arrested June 18 in Las Vegas on a
Colorado warrant charging him with killing 23-year-old Kristina Sandoval. She disappeared in October 1995, and her body has never
been found.
