LAS VEGAS (AP) - The public information officer for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue has won a community achievement award from the Nevada Broadcasters Association.
Timothy Szymanski was presented the award Saturday night at a gala hosted by the association.
Szymanski has worked for 25 years as the agency's public information officer.
Bob Fisher, president and chief executive of the Nevada Broadcasters Association and Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons presented the award.
