LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas fire officials say a vacant house fire near downtown has been confined to one bedroom and nobody has
been hurt.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue spokesman Tim Szymanski says authorities
found a broken window at the house but nobody inside the bedroom
where the fire started Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say the owner, who lives out of town, told investigators he has had a problem with homeless people squatting at the house.
Damage has been estimated at $10,000, confined to the bedroom of
the one-story house.
