LAS VEGAS (AP) - A University Medical Center employee faces
charges of stealing more than $100,000 from the hospital over the
past 16 months.

Keisha Jones, 33, has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft after she was arrested Wednesday. Jones works in the hospital's Lied Pediatric Center.

Las Vegas police say the theft began in January 2007.

Police say hospital representatives contacted them with their suspicions after an internal audit showed about $109,000 was missing. Jones was arrested after an undercover police operation.
