LAS VEGAS (AP) - A former owner of the Las Vegas Garden of Love
wedding chapel says she will plead guilty to trying to steal a $20,000 printer.

Cheryl Luell is scheduled to enter her plea May 20 to one count of attempted grand larceny. She also agreed to pay nearly $17,00 in
restitution.

According to prosecutors, Luell tried to buy the printer in August from Fernando Padilla, a vendor from California who was an exhibitor at a convention.

Authorities say they couldn't agree on a price, but that didn't stop Luell from later wheeling the printer and other equipment to her vehicle.

A video camera captured her and a man loading the equipment into
her vehicle.

Luell has been at the center of an ongoing dispute involving Las
Vegas' competing wedding chapels.

Other chapels accused Garden of Love employees of harassing and
even attacking rival chapel workers to monopolize the stream of
couples seeking wedding licenses at the downtown license bureau.
