RENO, Nev. (AP) - The cattle were making their way to the streets of Reno, and that can only mean one thing - the rodeo is in town.

City slickers and cow pokes have been driving the cattle through the northern Nevada desert for the past four days.

The 90th Reno Rodeo kicks off Thursday night with the Dodge Xtreme Bulls Tour event. Forty top bull riders in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association will compete for a share of the $40,000 purse.

On Saturday, the annual Reno Rodeo Parade will be held on Virginia Street in downtown Reno.
