 Amendment 21
Named for the U.S. Constitutional Amendment that repealed prohibition, Amendment 21 offers and expansive traditional American Menu with a full bar and wine list. Just a sampling of Amendment 21’s offerings includes crispy mozzarella with balsamic-tomato-basil salsa, a chopped salad (featuring fresh greens, black beans, Pico de Gallo, Caesar dressing and a choice of meat) as well as heartier dishes such as shrimp scampi with Rotini pasta and sizzling fajitas. There is also a selection of burgers, sandwiches and wraps, as well as assorted pizzas. In addition to the tasty food, Amendment 21 offers a selection of refreshing beverages. There are more than 10 beers on tap, including Guinness and Sam Adams; specialty drinks such as espresso martini; wine from some of California’s finest wineries; and a full assortment of nonalcoholic drinks. Amendment 21 is pleased to feature the most advanced multimedia network in Reno. Guests can enjoy the full scope of domestic and international sports events on multiple plasma and projector screens. There are also pool tables, darts. Multiple networked Xbox 360 gaming consoles, computer access, and free Wi-Fi. Amendment 21 is available for meetings, webinars and other corporate special events. “Our goal is to provide a high quality, reasonable priced grill, wine and bar menu for clientèle, as well as the most exciting environment to watch a sporting event or conduct a meeting,” said Nate Lance, principal operator of Amendment 21. “We are excited about all of the great things going on in the redevelopment district and happy to be a part of the transformation underway in downtown Reno.” Amendment 21 is located at 425 South Virginia Street, adjacent to the 50 West Liberty Avenue Tower just south of the intersection of Liberty Avenue and South Virginia Street in Downtown Reno, part of Basin Street Properties.
