FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Fresno police say a car ended up on the roof of an apartment after its driver lost control on a curve and was launched over landscaping rocks.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. Wednesday. Police tell KFSN-TV
the driver, 26-year-old Benjamin Tucker, had stolen the car from a
nearby home and suffered a broken leg when he jumped from the roof
after the crash.
He was arrested about a quarter mile away on suspicion of hit-and-run and running away from an officer.
Ralph White, who lives in the apartment with his family, said he awoke to falling debris and smoke and ran to a neighbor's house to
call police. No one inside the apartment was injured.
A towing company had to use a crane to get the car down.

@Shannon Yeah, so long as you are charged with being 1st degree white trash.
Sounds like a tough little moron doesn't he? Steals the car, not only wrecks it but launches it onto the roof of an apt then breaks his leg jumping from the roof and manages to get a quarter of a mile with a broken leg before getting caught. Too bad they cant charge him for criminal stupidity.
