LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Occupy Wall Street movement is preparing to
take over Las Vegas' foreclosure-ravaged neighborhoods.

Southern Nevada Occupy leaders say protesters will gather at foreclosed homes across the Las Vegas valley on Saturday to urge
Wall Street banks to negotiate with mortgage borrowers.

The protesters say home ownership is a fundamental right.

Protesters in other states began gathering at foreclosed homes in November after law enforcement officials shut down Occupy camps
across the nation.

Nearly a quarter of all U.S. homeowners with mortgages are now underwater, representing nearly 11 million homes.

Nevada has topped the nation in foreclosures for 59 straight months.

The Las Vegas Occupy movement has largely avoided the violent police confrontations seen in other cities.

Your ignorance is obvious. Please don't try to defend or attack something you know little to nothing about. If you had a clue what the Occupy movement is about, you would realize that most of the people involved it the support of the 99 percent are actually employed! I hold a college degree. I am employed. I have benefits, health insurance, and a retirement. I am the middle class. I am not anti capitalism. I am not a communist. I pay taxes, I believe corporations should do the same. I don't expect a handout, I don't believe big banks and big business should either.

the Constitution endows me with certain inalienable rights, including the pursuit of happiness. It only makes me happy when I learn of the downfall of the privileged elite, so taking from them is my Constitutionally protected right!

Unbelievable, these people are acting as lawless as Big Business and our Elected rulers. They need to be taught that taking is only for privileged and those positions are already taken ..
