LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a 22-year-old woman who had pulled over to the side of the interstate in Las Vegas after a smaller crash was killed after she was hit by another vehicle.
Coroner's officials say Nascha Wallace of Las Vegas was pronounced dead at University Medical Center shortly after the pre-dawn accident on Sunday.
Nevada Highway Patrol officials say Wallace and another driver were involved in a two-car accident and were standing on the shoulder of I-15 near Charleston Boulevard exchanging information.
Officials say that's when a passing Honda hit Wallace.
The other driver in the original accident was taken to the hospital with injuries that don't appear to be life-threatening.
