LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a 39-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition after she was hit by a sports car as she crossed Las Vegas Boulevard.
Las Vegas police say the 1986 Ferrari Testarossa struck the woman outside a marked crosswalk a little after noon Sunday near Park Paseo Drive.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center. Her name wasn't immediately made public.
The driver was identified as 46-year-old Fred Nazaryan. He was not reported to have been injured.
Sgt. Richard Strader tells Fox 5 KVVU-TV that speed was a factor in the crash.
