LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas woman is accused of forging a marriage certificate so she could keep her racecar-driving boyfriend's possessions after he was killed in a Nevada crash three years ago.

Police say Allison Lear was arrested at a Las Vegas Strip nightclub Saturday on outstanding warrants. She faces charges of forgery and perjury.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Lear and 37-year-old Alexander Djordjevic had been dating for several months when his Porsche went down an embankment June 26, 2010, during a mountain road race near Virginia City.

Lear later showed a marriage certificate indicating she and Djordjevic had married a few days before his death at her parents' home. Police and relatives question whether a wedding ever happened.

Calls to a phone number for "A Lear" went unanswered Friday.
