CALIENTE, NV - Crews and aerial support are making good progress on securing the perimeter of the Barnes Fire, which is 10% contained.
The visible 345-acre fire is burning 15 miles southwest of Caliente, Nevada. The fire started approximately at 9:41 a.m. Sunday. There are 112 people assigned to the fire, including 4 crews, two helicopters, and six engines.
Full containment of the fire is expected Tuesday.
