HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Investigators say somebody on a webcam witnessed the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old woman in Henderson, but they don't know who.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Henderson police detective Chad Mitchell testified Monday about Cherish Pincombe's Oct. 22 death.
Twenty-two-year-old shooter Colin Lowrey says he thought his gun was unloaded when he pointed it at Pincombe's head and pulled the trigger.
Lowrey and the young woman were chatting with strangers on a website called Omegle.com when Lowrey says an anonymous woman from Norway asked if he had a gun.
Mitchell says Lowrey doesn't think the same woman was chatting when the shooting happened.
Police say they've subpoenaed the site, but have only received snapshots of chats involving Pincombe and Lowrey.
Lowrey faces an open murder charge in the case.
