LAS VEGAS (AP) - Clark County officials are warning residents about bad air floating in from wildfires in Nevada and Southern California.

County officials issued an air quality advisory Monday as a smoky haze hung over the Las Vegas valley. The advisory is in effect through Tuesday.

Officials note that pollutants haven't reached unhealthy levels for the general population, but may bother sensitive groups such as people with respiratory conditions.

A wildfire north of Los Angeles has burned about 35 square miles and destroyed at least six homes. Nearly 3,000 people were under evacuation orders Monday.

County officials say the Summit Fire is also burning in Lovell Canyon, between Las Vegas and Pahrump.
