LAS VEGAS (AP) - A jury in Las Vegas could hear closing arguments Friday in comedian George Wallace's personal injury lawsuit against a Strip resort where he injured his leg while performing in December 2007.
Jurors have heard two weeks of testimony about the night the 61-year-old stand-up comic became entangled in wiring during a show for a corporate group at the Bellagio.
He said it felt like a bear trap, or being electrocuted.
Wallace's attorneys are asking the jury to award Wallace $9 million for his injury and lost earnings.
They allege negligence by the Bellagio.
Bellagio attorneys say Wallace voluntarily assumed the risk of injury during his show, had a pre-existing injury and was careless onstage.
