Vegas Police Trying to ID 10-Time Armed Robber

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are going public with attempts to apprehend a masked gunman believed to be responsible for 10 store robberies since March.

Robbery Sgt. Steve Candelas is meeting with the media Friday afternoon to talk about the man police are calling the "Quick Pinch" robber.

Police are also due to release video.

Officer Jose Hernandez says the gunman wears a thick knit mask and displays a gun.

Hernandez says the robberies have taken place during early morning hours of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. at businesses on the west side of the city.
