LAS VEGAS (AP) - A pedestrian has been killed in a hit-and-run accident in Las Vegas.
Police say the victim was walking in an implied crosswalk near Jones Boulevard and Saddle Avenue when he was struck by an SUV about 11 p.m. Saturday. He was rushed to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead about 90 minutes later.
The SUV, a 2004 silver Nissan Xterra, was recovered a short time later south of Jones and Flamingo Road. Police are still looking for the driver.
