LAS VEGAS (AP) - McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas is reporting a slight decrease in passenger traffic in November compared with a year earlier.
Data released Friday tallied a little more than 3.3 million passengers for the month. That's down 0.3 percent from November 2011.
Total airport traffic remains ahead of last year. The number of arriving and departing passengers approached 38.5 million for the first eleven months of the year. That's up 0.6 percent.
International traffic continues to grow while domestic travel stalls. The airport served 0.7 percent fewer domestic passengers than in November 2011, and 6 percent more international travelers.
International carriers make up about 10 percent of traffic.
Southwest is the airport's largest carrier and saw a 3 percent increase in traffic in November.
McCarran is the seventh-busiest airport nationally.
