LAS VEGAS (AP) - The University of Nevada, Las Vegas has been named one of the nation's most diverse campuses for undergraduates for a second year in a row.

The 2013 U.S. News & World Report best colleges rankings gave the school a 0.7 score for ethnic diversity on a scale of 0.0 to 1.0. That's a tie for eighth place with eight other universities.

At UNLV, 51 percent of all undergraduate students report being part of a racial or ethnic minority. School officials say Hispanic students make up the school's largest minority undergraduate student group at 19 percent.

The rankings are based on enrollment data from the 2011-2012 school year and factor in the proportion of minority students and the overall ethnic mix of the student body.
