LAS VEGAS (AP) - Two police officers and two civilians have been hospitalized after a car crashed into two patrol cruisers during a traffic stop northeast of Las Vegas.
None of the four hospitalized have life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred just before 1 a.m. Friday when a Las Vegas Metro Police officer was conducting a traffic stop and a second officer pulled over to assist.
A black BMW then rear-ended the second officer's car, which slammed into the first officer's car. The driver of the BMW, both officers and the driver undergoing the traffic stop were all taken to University Medical Center with injuries.
KLAS-TV reports the driver of the BMW was released and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
