LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are looking for at least two assailants after a street shooting that injured a man they were arguing with, and wounded a woman sitting on a bus bench nearby.

Officer Laura Meltzer said Tuesday that both wounded people were taken to nearby Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center after the 11:15 p.m. shooting on Maryland Parkway across from The Boulevard mall.

Their wounds weren't believed to be life-threatening.

Meltzer says the woman wasn't involved in an altercation that witnesses say preceded the shooting.

The assailants weren't immediately identified, and gang unit detectives are investigating.
