Two Dead, Four Hurt in Halloween Crashes

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Two people are dead and four people are injured after a dangerous Halloween night on Las Vegas roads.

Police say a 6-year-old girl heading to a holiday event at a Las Vegas church was struck and critically injured in a hit-and-run about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Authorities say the suspect is a man in his 20s driving an older Volkswagen Jetta.

A 17-year-old girl was killed in a crash in North Las Vegas while she and her family were coming home from a Halloween party. Police say a truck hit the family's car a little before 10 p.m., killing her and critically injuring her grandparents and toddler son.

And an 81-year-old woman, identified as Bella Pascual, died after being hit by a car in Las Vegas a little after 6 p.m.
