LAS VEGAS (AP) - A judge agreed to postpone trial until Sept. 8 for a self-described pimp facing the death penalty in the deaths of three people last February on the Las Vegas Strip.
Ammar Harris' new attorneys sought additional time Monday shape their schedules and prepare a defense for 27-year-old Ammar Harris.
Thomas Ericsson and Robert Langford were appointed last month to represent Harris after a team of special public defenders withdrew.
Trial had been scheduled to begin Dec. 2.
Harris is accused of fatally shooting an aspiring rapper driving a sports car that crashed into a taxi, killing two other people.
Harris was found guilty Sept. 20 of four felonies in another case stemming from a June 2010 sex attack on an 18-year-old woman at a condominium off the Las Vegas Strip.
