Tips Flow in on 2006 Missing Woman Case

PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) - Nye County sheriff's detectives say they've received numerous tips after identifying a new suspect in a 2006 Pahrump missing person case.

Authorities on Wednesday linked 81-year-old Keith Holmes of Pearblossom, Calif., to DNA on pantyhose found in Maureen Fields' vehicle.

Nye County Detective David Boruchowitz said he's already interviewed Holmes, who's an incarcerated, registered sex offender who began traveling to Pahrump around 2006. But deputies say they want to talk with people who know him.

Fields had recently moved from New Jersey and was last seen by Wells Fargo Bank co-workers on Valentine's Day 2006. Her husband, Paul Fields, says he last saw the 41-year-old leaving for work after an argument Feb. 15, 2006.

Her vehicle was found the next day in Inyo County, Calif., a short distance from Pahrump.
