LAS VEGAS (AP) - A man accused of firing a gun as he tried to make off with costumes and props used by Thunder From Down Under male performers on the Las Vegas Strip has been indicted on 17 criminal counts.

Joey Kadmiri was indicted Friday by a Clark County grand jury on charges including attempted murder, battery and robbery.

The 24-year-old Kadmiri is accused of making his way to the backstage area of the all-male revue at the Excalibur on March 18 and trying to steal costumes and props.

According to police, Kadmiri pulled out a handgun and put it to the head of one of the dancers. A dancer pushed the gun away, and a round hit a wall before dancers could tackle him. No one was hit by gunfire.
