LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 24-year-old employee at a Las Vegas private school is facing federal charges after investigators say they found child pornography on his computers.
Prosecutors say John-Benedict Galang Alcantara turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday, then appeared in court and was released on bail.
Investigators say child pornography photos and videos were being shared online from an Internet address connected to Alcantara's Las Vegas home.
Authorities who executed a search warrant there over the weekend say they found cartoon images of child erotica on his bedroom walls and seized computers that contained child pornography.
They say they also found child pornography on hard drives under Alcantara's control at Spring Valley Montessori School, where he worked.
Alcantara faces 5 to 20 years in prison if he's convicted of receiving child pornography.
