SUV Driver Injured in Crash Involving School Bus

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Police say the driver of an SUV is in the hospital after a crash involving a school bus near a Henderson high school.

Henderson police spokesman Keith Paul says the crash happened about 6:40 a.m. Thursday on Burkholder Boulevard, near Basic High School.

Paul says nobody on the bus was injured when the SUV apparently turned in front of it. The SUV flipped and landed on its side.

The driver was taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital's Siena Campus with injuries Paul described as non-life threatening.
