LAS VEGAS (AP) - Prosecutors say a 70-year-old man who got out of federal prison last November after being sentenced to more than three years for possessing and trading child pornography has been sentenced to almost 22 years in prison for doing almost the same thing again.
U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden in Las Vegas said William Greenfield was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty in May to one charge of transporting child pornography. Greenfield was also sentenced to lifetime supervision.
Greenfield lived in the highway town of Cal-Nev-Ari. That's about 40 miles south of Las Vegas.
Bogden says forensic analysis revealed more than 600 images and videos of explicit child pornography on Greenfield's computer, and Greenfield admitted to his federal probation officer in March that he'd been viewing child pornography.
