LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police are investigating how a 2-month-old boy died after he was found at a home south of the Las Vegas Strip.
The Clark County coroner's office on Friday identified the child as Peyton William James Klingenberg.
Officer Laura Meltzer tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal the child was found unresponsive a little before 3 p.m. Tuesday at a house on Lake Creek Street. That's near Silverado Ranch and Las Vegas boulevards.
The boy was pronounced dead at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena campus.
KSNV-TV reports the child was found between a wall and a bed at the home.
Meltzer says detectives from the police abuse and neglect unit are investigating.
