LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a 12-year-old Las Vegas boy is in critical condition after he was struck by a car while riding his bike Saturday evening.
Las Vegas Metro police say the accident occurred at the intersection of Trailwood Drive and Delaney Creek Lane around 5 p.m.
Police say the boy was riding his bicycle northbound on Delaney Creek and was struck by a car headed east on Trailwood.
The boy was thrown from his bicycle. He was taken to University Medical Centre with life-threatening injuries.
Officers say the 25-year-old woman driving the car had minor injuries but her three passengers, including two children, were unharmed.
Police are still investigating the collision.
