NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) - Police in North Las Vegas are releasing store security images and asking for public help to identify a man suspected of punching and kicking a man who was playing a slot machine a convenience store.

Officer Chrissie Coon says a 46-year-old North Las Vegas man was left with serious head injuries in the apparently unprovoked attack about 1:30 p.m. May 18 at a store on North Las Vegas Boulevard near Pecos Road.

The victim's name wasn't made public. Police say he fell to the floor when he was punched, and the attacker kicked him in the head several times before walking out of the store.

Police think the assailant is about 30 years old, and Coon says police don't know a motive for the attack.
