Police Seek Ex-Boyfriend in Fatal Vegas Shooting

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police have named a 42-year-old man as the person of interest in the fatal shooting of a woman in southeast Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said in a statement Saturday that they were looking for Robert Brown, who was dating the woman who died in the shooting Friday. Authorities say the shooting also injured an elderly woman who remains hospitalized.

Police have not yet released the name of the dead woman.

Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. Officers responding to reports of gunfire inside an apartment on Harmon Avenue found its front window broken and the two women injured inside.

Police are asking the public for help looking for Brown and his vehicle, a red 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with personalized Nevada license plates reading "ARIYL."
