LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are looking for a driver who they say hit a 3-year-old girl, checked on her and drove away from the scene.
Authorities say the child is in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital after the crash Monday evening on Cy Cliffview Circle. That's in a neighborhood southeast of downtown Las Vegas.
Police say the girl was in the roadway at the end of a cul-de-sac when she was struck by a white, four-door sedan. Officials say the female driver got out of the car to see the injured girl before leaving without helping her.
Police are asking for help from anyone who might have information about the driver.
