LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police are searching for a shooter in an apparent road rage incident over the weekend that left a 23-year-old Las Vegas man dead.
Authorities say the shooting happened a little before 2 a.m. Saturday near Lone Mountain Road and Rancho Drive, not far from the Santa Fe Station casino. The victim's been identified as Kristopher Stafford.
Police say it appears an argument started between people in two vehicles that were traveling down Lone Mountain Road. Witnesses told police the suspect fired multiple gunshots and hit Stafford before speeding away.
Stafford was found dead in the road.
Police describe the suspect's vehicle as a dark-colored car with possible rear taillight damage.
