LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say street racing may be to blame for a rollover crash that killed two young men in Las Vegas and critically injured a woman.
Authorities say they're looking for information about a black sports car that may have been racing with a 2006 Nissan 350Z on Centennial Center Boulevard about 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Nissan lost control and slid into a median before hitting a palm tree and rolling over.
The 21-year-old driver, Blake James Shirley, was killed, along with his 19-year-old front passenger, Tyler Ray Watts. A 22-year-old Las Vegas woman riding in the back was partially ejected and taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The deaths mark the 76th and 77th traffic fatalities in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction this year.
